How to join us
To become a member you need to qualify under our common bond*. You can apply for individual or corporate membership.
*Qualifying under our common bond just means you happen to live, work, study or worship in or around Liverpool. See below for details.
Individual membership
Living or working in Liverpool or the surrounding areas
Anyone living or working in the following council boroughs can join us:
- Chester and West Cheshire
- Halton
- Knowsley
- Liverpool City Region
- Sefton
- St Helen
- Warrington Borough Council
- Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council
- Wirral
This means that anyone who lives or works in any of the following postcodes can join the Credit Union:
- L
- PR8 and PR9
- CH41 - CH49 and CH60 - 63
- WA4 and WA7 - WA14
- WN5
Working for a particular employer
If you do not live or work in a qualifying area but are employed by one of the following companies you can still join us:
- Alt Housing Group Limited

- Riverside Group

- One Vision Housing Association
- Plus Dane Group

Being a tenant of a particular housing association
If you do not live or work in a qualifying area but are a tenant of one of the following social landlords you can still join us:

- One Vision Housing Association
- Plus Dane Group

If you worship in any of the following places you can join us:

Corporate membership
Any business with an office in the L postcode can apply to become a corporate member.
If your business does not have an office in the L postcode area, but has a significant connection with Liverpool it can apply to become a corporate member. Such a business must be a:
- Housing association providing services to residents in Liverpool
- Education provider to residents in Liverpool
- Community or voluntary group providing services to residents in Liverpool
- Public service provider to residents in Liverpool
- Civil service provider to residents in Liverpool
