Summer holiday activities in Liverpool
It’s been a turbulent year for parents but now the summer holidays have arrived and with restrictions easing across the nation, there are a lot more activities throughout our city that families can get involved in.
We know that some events can go under the radar, which is why we have put together a list of summer holiday activities across the Liverpool City Region. Take a look below at all the things you and your children can get involved in this summer….
Granby Toxteth Development Trust – Holiday Food Club & Activities
The Granby Toxteth Development Trust are running a summer holiday food club and summer activities for families with children and young people aged 5 to 17. This is available in Picton, Princes Park and Riverside. Some of the activities include a day at the beach, water sports and football. The Green House Project – Playdays
The Green House Project have a huge range of indoor and outdoor play and arts activities for 3-12-year-olds in the L8 area. The activities include games, arts and crafts, cookery and forest schooling and runs between 10 am-1:30 pm and 2 pm-5:30 pm during the summer holidays. Al-Ghazali Centre – Haf Summer Programme
The Al-Ghazali Centre are running a Haf Summer Programme for children on free school meals starting from Monday 26th July 2021. There is the junior programme which is for boys and girls aged 6-12 which runs from a Monday to Thursday 11 am – 3 pm, then there is also the Senior Programme which is for boys only between the ages of 13-18 and this runs on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 5 pm-8 pm. The activities are designed to keep children and young people entertained and active with things like arts and crafts, yoga, healthy cooking and martial arts.
